IP PBX maker Tadiran seeks new channel partners Israel-based IP PBX maker, Tadiran Telecom is looking for new channel partners in Australia. Zeev Aviv, VP sales and marketing, said: “We perceive Australia as a key market and we hope to contribute new ways in which Australian enterprises will communicate and transact business.” Tadiran Telecom already has significant presence in the Australian market through Fujitsu Australia which has been distributing its products for more than a decade. Another partner is ACC which took on the Tadiran products in 2006. However it has recently run into difficulties related to the current economic crisis, according to Tadiran. “We see this setback as an opportunity to refresh and deepen our connection with the Australian market” Aviv said. “Our past success with Fujitsu Australia has led to a very impressive installed customer base which, coupled with our great IP solutions, present tremendous opportunities for Tadiran Telecom in Australia.” Tadiran recently launched the Coral Sea softswitch and plans to release this in Australia in the near future. “Tadiran’s solutions allow enterprises to seamlessly utilise multiple layers of communication networks such as IP networks, cellular, wireless LAN, and WiMAX. All of these communication networks are available in Australia and could be utilised by Australian enterprises, their seamless convergence is ideal for the Australian market.” Aviv claimed.
